ABOUT

A LEGACY OF TECH & INNOVATION

Once the largest building in all of Vancouver, today, The Post houses more workers than any other office building in the city.

This place was designed and built to change the world around it. This steadfast attitude and dedication to something greater led to technological advancements that transformed Vancouver’s economy, its urban fabric, and its very community.

Today, you and your co-workers are connecting to a history of excellence and boundary-pushing that stretches back more than six decades.

SMART BUILDING INNOVATION

A SMARTER BUILDING FOR A SMARTER NETWORK

Flexible and future-facing, The Post’s digital infrastructure will improve building operations and elevate user experience for years to come.

We are deploying over 1000 sensors for monitoring to achieve wellness goals for our tenants. By using data insights and layering environmental sensing with occupancy data, we are ensuring consistent healthy conditions in all communal spaces. As a result, we will deliver a seamless digital experience that works in conjunction with the physical space, creating a unique environment for all who take part.

The parkade is accessed through Eihu Lane, on the south side of the building, connecting Thurlow Street and Bute Street. All parking is available at prevailing rates which may be adjusted from time to time. To reserve a monthly stall, please contact QuadReal Connect.

PARKING

On-site Parking for Cars, EVs, and Dedicated Carshare

745 Thurlow has a 314-stall underground parkade that is managed by Advanced Parking, offering both hourly and monthly rates.

AMENITIES

A Streamlined Workplace, Designed with You in Mind

At The Post, we’re working to bring work and life a little closer together, with fitness, outdoor space, bike parking, EV charging, and more.

CONSERVING, SUSTAINING, REUSING

QuadReal keeps sustainability top of mind by striving to be more efficient, more engaged, and more innovative.

By retaining the existing structure on this historic site—and designing it to achieve LEED Gold certification—we’ve saved approximately 25,000 tonnes of carbon. We’ve also implemented interventions like waste heat recovery, passive solar shading, light shelves, and a rational building envelope, all in an effort to be more energy-efficient.
